Exit blade room and Gral searches hallway. Sees dark hall to left with stairway to sound of water. Long hallway to right has large room with light emanating. Gral returns and discovers Sigyn (human hunter) hiding in a crack in the wall watching our movements. After exchanging pleasantries, introductions, and brief explaination of reason for stalking us with the group, she joins our party and we make our way back to the lit room.

Encounter 1 / Defeated invisible lightning dragon (Gral).
Search rooms and hallways, finding a hidden cave system that leads to nothing important. Search other side of portcullis Ka’cha destroys and finally find the dragon’s hoard.

Discover secret passage from sitting room to stariway and chest. Find hollowed bone scrolls to Nosenrah, from Obmi: ” Snure commends assaults and asks for more raids at Howling Crag against humans.” We return to the cave and recover.
EXTENDED REST
Sneak back to stronghold to see nothing has changed. Continue down stairs through secret room to hallway leading to portcullis room with columns having spears protruding and lining the walls. We break down the portcullis and enter.

Push open great doors to great hall with lots of giants surrounding a large fire pit. Crixus tosses the head of female giant across floor to surprise them.

We enter doors from the courtyard and check door at end of hallway. Hear giants partying and making noise, and decide to crash the party.
Encounter 4 / Defeated mama giant (Blair) four giants (Ka’cha, Crixus, Gral x2), and captured 12 young giants (Blair x2, Ka’cha x2, Gral x5, Crixus x3).
Search apparent nursery and room where femal giant came from.

We exit the kitchen to a hallway with door. Hear giants snoring inside the room and decide to sneak in the room and attempt to coup de grace.

Search bunkroom and room where stone giants came from.

Gral scouts the area down the stairs, but group decides to clear the upper level first. We enter a short hallway to more doors and exit to the watchtower area and see sleeping guards. We dedice to take out the tower first.
Encounter 3 / Defeated four giants (Crixus x2, Gral x2), two giant minions (Blair x2), and two orc minions (Blair, Noor).
Search watchtower and courtyard.

After returning to the cave to assess the situation and cure Crixus of his wolf badness, we make our way back to the stronghold and successfully sneak by the watchtower. We enter the courtyard by the same entrance we’d previously entered and carefully check doors leading inside. We enter the door leading to the dining area and see a large wooden idol of a giant and a copper dragon head mounted on the wall, and continue through the kitchen.

Adventurers from across the land hear call to arms against the Giants and meet in local town. Blair (seeker), Crixus (fighter), Gral (monk), Ka’cha (warlord) and Noor (Druid) form a fellowship and set out gathering intel on the Giants. At the mining guild we hear of dwarves that have been killed. At the merchant guild we find that Zander has been kidnapped. While at the church we hear of a temple in the hill giant stronghold they want more info about. Blair, out of the blue, asks for a dead body and purchases one from the church. He reanimates it and calls him “Steve the Butler”. We make way toward the stronghold and find a cave to rest in prior to a night approach. We wait until dusk to sneak in the back courtyard away from the watchtower. Ka’cha climbs and sees a large dire wolf sleeping.
Encounter 1 / Defeated one werewolf (Blair), two hill giants (Gral, Crixus), and five dire wolves (Blair, Crixus x2, Ka’cha x2).
Crixus contracts the werewolf badness and we search courtyard and barracks.
FOUND: 9,000GP (1,800GP each), Sapphire (1,000GP), Statuette (1,500GP), 2 Potions of Vitality (???), Varg’s key which is used to open chest with Level 15 Magic Item (Ka’cha), mundane items
